Prior to working with Adlava, the Mayor’s Fund had no website and no branding. Starting from scratch gave us added flexibility, but it also presented unique challenges. We knew we needed to be very clear about what their initiatives are and educate the public on their fundraising efforts. Encouraging donations was a priority.
To very clearly display and explain the Mayor’s Fund main priorities and initiatives, we added large icons on the homepage where users can click to learn more. We designed a logo that’s bright, colorful, and welcoming, emphasizing a sense of community and togetherness. The web design stayed simple and clean with a straightforward user interface. This allows the user to focus on the Mayor’s Fund and nothing else. To make it easier for users to donate, we applied donation links in multiple places on the site.
