While all of the necessary pieces were there, the website was challenging to navigate, not very intuitive, and easily lost visitors along the way. We needed to make significant design updates without disturbing Rakuten’s recognizable branding and messaging. Their content management, website, and lead generation were disparate entities, and they needed a more efficient way to bring these factors together.
We started by reorganizing the website’s structure to make it more user-friendly and easier to navigate. This involved updating the design while still maintaining their branding and messaging standards. We also reviewed their site to ensure it’s GDPR compliant. To create a more seamless workflow for Rakuten, we streamlined its content management process by introducing Webflow’s CMS. Additionally, we integrated their online forms with their CRM to better streamline their lead generation and email marketing efforts.
